The Kake community is invited to watch the Lady T-birds at state, Kake vs Newhalen, on-screen live stream at 11:00 today, and the T-birds, Kake vs Lumen Christi at 12:30 in the high school cafeteria. You will have to sign in at the front office to watch the game. Go T-Birds!

School is closed today because of heavy snowfall. Travel could be very difficult because of hazardous conditions.

Tonight's game is canceled due to weather and school cancellation.

REMINDER Dear Parent or Guardian, The Kake City School District is partnering with the Association of Alaska School Boards to conduct the School Climate and Connectedness Survey ©, a statewide survey taken by students, staff, and families. This survey measures their perceptions of the school’s climate, including the engagement of students, staff, and families in cultural connectedness, family and community involvement, school safety, and family engagement. Students grades 3 - 12 will take the survey on February 20 through March 17. They will complete the survey online during the school day. There are different surveys for younger students (grades 3-5) and older students (grades 6-12). Family Survey: We also value input from our families. You are an important partner as we continually improve each school’s environment through school and family engagement and communication. We ask each parent/guardian to complete one survey during February. If you have more than one child attending this school, you only need to fill out one survey.
